First Nations Heritage Month Celebration

About this event

Join the UT Southwestern community at the First Nations Heritage Month Celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come explore special collections of Native American art, regalia, and handcrafted pieces such as beadwork and pottery.

The celebration will also feature a performance by Indigenous ACE, a dynamic group sharing heritage through authentic music and dance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with representatives from Texas Native Health, the Lipan Apache Tribe, and the Intertribal Community Council of Texas.

This event will be held near the D1 area on South Campus, and fry bread tacos will be available and limited on a first come, first serve basis.

This event is hosted by the Office for Institutional Opportunity.

No registration is required.
