Thanks Day Celebration 2026

About this event

Join us this Thanks Day as we celebrate the impact of philanthropy at UT Dallas.

Each year many individuals and corporations choose to support your UT Dallas student experience. Philanthropy at UT Dallas can be seen across campus in every student’s life. Whether through scholarships, the Comet Cupboard , Temoc’s Closet , Student Emergency Funds , International Student Emergency Fund , research, buildings, programming, and so much more, philanthropy is a key driver in making UT Dallas home.

On Nov. 10, you’re invited to be part of the annual Thanks Day tradition taking place in the lower level of the Student Union by the pool tables.

This Thanks Day, see that impact in action. Stop by to paint, plant and add your creativity to our growing celebration of gratitude , enjoy free plants and candy,* and learn how generosity makes a difference for Comets like you.

Then, take the celebration beyond the Student Union with our campus-wide scavenger hunt . Explore UT Dallas, discover places and programs made possible or strengthened through philanthropy, and see firsthand how donors help our campus grow.
