About this event

Texas Arbor Day is celebrated on the first Friday of each November. Texas trees are planted in fall, as opposed to national Arbor Day in April, since temperature and rainfall conditions in Texas are not suitable for young trees at that time.

Join us on November 06 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Parking Structure 1 (PS1) to plant three Texas native trees! The tree planting will be led in collaboration with UTD Grounds and Frank Rodriguez, UTD Arborist, who will be providing education on campus trees, their value, and importance.

Listed by Comet Calendar (Localist), gathered by the Flower Mound events calendar.
