About this event
SEEDSPEAK
A Solo Performance Created & Performed by Alejandro Perez Jr.
Who we become is never something we create alone.
Every lesson. Every challenge. Every embrace. Every correction. Every act of love.
Someone planted a seed.
Join OutLoud for SEEDSPEAK, a deeply personal and interactive solo performance created and performed by Alejandro Perez Jr. (Mestre Bodé Cantador) exploring the people, experiences, triumphs, failures, losses, and moments of love that shape who we become.
Through storytelling, movement, song, dance, and reflection, Alejandro invites audiences into his journey of becoming—honoring the family members, elders, teachers, mentors, friends, children, and loved ones who planted seeds throughout his life and helped those seeds take root.
At once intimate and communal, SEEDSPEAK asks us to reflect on our own lives: Who planted seeds in you? What have you carried forward? And what seeds are you planting for those who come next?
This is more than the story of one life. It is a celebration of the countless ways we shape one another, often without realizing the impact we have made.
Come celebrate the seeds. Come witness the harvest.
SEEDSPEAK is presented as part of OutLoud’s Open House Series, creating space for artists to share new work, explore bold ideas, and invite audiences into the creative process.
