Winning The Fight (WTF) named Paige Furin its new executive director on Sunday; Furin, who joined the group in November 2024, will expand school-based prevention programs and community training across Denton County.

Lori Walker, president of the Flower Mound Chamber, recently moved to a new office where she displays family plaques (reminders of her local roots) as she continues to help local businesses connect and grow.

UIL released district alignments for the 2026-2028 school seasons, changing matchups for high school sports starting fall — Flower Mound, Denton Guyer, Lewisville and Marcus remain in District 5 while Argyle will face new opponents with Coppell moving to District 7 and Frisco Wakeland added.
