- ➤ Texas has opened the voucher program and updated its list of local private schools available for tuition funding. Parents must apply by March 17 to receive up to $10,474 per student under Senate Bill 2 (signed in May 2025), with over 20,000 students already applying in the early hours. The Cross Timbers Gazette
- ➤ Lewisville ISD could lose nearly $18 million in state funding as disaster pennies expire and lower attendance is expected for the 2026 to 2027 school year. District officials warn the loss may affect school programs and budgets. Flower Mound Leader
