Peters Colony Memorial Park will see its soft opening after April when construction finishes.

Located along Peters Colony Road near the public library, the 3.3-acre site will feature trails, a pavilion, and a spot for legacy monuments — including a Veterans Plaza honoring Chief Warrant Officer Douglas A. Brown.

Tom Thumb opened its new 63,000 sqft grocery store in Harvest Town Center (at FM 407 and I-35W) at 6 a.m. Friday, drawing early shoppers while weekend celebrations continue with live radio broadcasts, special deals, and a ribbon-cutting that donated $45,000 to local schools and nonprofits.

Dig World broke ground on its new construction theme park at Grapevine Mills Mall in late February and opened in July 2025.
