- ➤ The Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum opened the Commerce & Community exhibit Tuesday, showing artifacts and photos of local small businesses. The event runs until Oct. 31 and is free to visit with handicapped parking available through the north entrance. The Cross Timbers Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Lantana Fresh Water Supply Districts approved a five-year contract with Republic Services that will change pickup schedules in April so that trash & recycling arrive on Tuesdays and only trash on Fridays; residents must also keep carts three feet apart for safe collection. - ➤ Matt Tibbitts of Trophy Club, president of the Greater Northwest Soccer Association, was named 2025 U.S. Youth Soccer Volunteer of the Year.
