The Town is hosting a free Holi Festival — presented by the Denton County India Cultural Association — on Saturday, March 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Park to celebrate spring with color throwing, music, dancing and food.

On Thursday morning, Congressman Brandon Gill hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for his new Flower Mound office at 600 Parker Square Road with officials from Denton County, Flower Mound, Highland Village and Lewisville.

He thanked his staff and family—emphasizing his commitment to keeping his office accessible for government concerns and requests.

The Denton County Sheriff’s Office is hiring Detention Officers with a starting salary of $56,894 and many benefits—vacation, sick and personal time, 13 paid holidays, insurance and training.
