- ➤ Flower Mound resident Jamie Langston was awarded the Bronze Pelican by the Fort Worth Diocese Catholic Committee on Scouting for coordinating the annual 10 Commandments Hike that brings together multiple faith communities on a three-mile walk along local trails. - ➤ Northlake Police Department made 19 arrests and handled 2,168 calls with 63 reports in January; one incident on Jan. 1 saw officers attempt a traffic stop on I-35W before a driver fled and later crashed—other calls in the month included reports of a gun altercation, prowling, an intoxicated threat, and a door-to-door roofing solicitation.
