United Way of Denton County announced six new board members for the fiscal year 2025—26.

Two Flower Mound residents, Paul Cristina, the chief executive of Denton County Transportation Authority, and Dee Ganjoo, a business leader at Charles Schwab, joined local leaders to guide the organization.

Traffic going westbound on the SH-114 bridge over Cleveland-Gibbs Road will be directed onto the frontage road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 15 as work crews open an additional lane — drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and exercise caution in the work zone during the $99 million project, which will be completed by Summer 2026.

The Cross Timbers Water Supply Corporation will host its Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the CTWSC office at 2032 E Hickory Hill Road in Argyle where members will learn about water system improvements and may register for a free water drawing—its 2024 financial audit received an Unmodified Opinion for the 11th consecutive year.
