Retired Marine Lance Corporal Dekota Frear, a Purple Heart recipient, received keys to his mortgage-free home in Denton on Thursday through a joint gift from Bank of America and the Military Warriors Support Foundation to support him and his 10-year-old son.
Construction continues on a 60,000 sqft Family Justice Center in Denton County (located on 6.5 acres donated by the Rayzor Family) to offer shelter, counseling, and legal services for survivors; the initial section will open later this year.

European Wax Center plans to open a new skincare spa at Harvest Town Center next to Great Clips with construction to begin mid-May and finish by the end of July; it will be the second location in southern Denton County (the first is along FM 1171 in Flower Mound).
