On Saturday, April 26, the Kid Fish event will take place at Rheudasil Park (2401 Lake Forest Blvd., 9 a.m.-12 p.m.) where over 500 pounds of catfish will be stocked for local anglers to fish and win prizes in several categories.

Rods, reels, and bait will be provided while visitors may bring their own gear.

Brave Combo will headline the Flower Mound Arts Festival at Heritage Park on May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Their infectious music—led by Grammy-winning Carl Finch—will bring energetic polka, rock and salsa influences to the main stage.

The Master Gardeners are hosting their annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Texas Fairgrounds in Denton, offering native and adaptable plants along with bargain options—a Garden Tour will follow on Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. across private gardens in Denton and Oak Point.
