The Shops at Highland Village will host Bloom & Bubbles on Saturday, offering discounts, a pilates session, a raffle for a private class, and free mimosas & coffee to benefit nonprofit Journey to Dream, which helps teens build coping skills.

Michelle Jennings will serve as principal when Barksdale Middle School opens in August in Pecan Square.

She brings experience from Worthington Middle School (opened in 2023) and looks forward to building relationships with Bronco families while beginning the hiring process.

Four Flower Mound HS students earned a spot at the WorldQuest nationals in Washington, D.C. by beating 89 teams in the regional contest and will compete on April 27.
