- ➤ The Shops at Highland Village will host Bloom & Bubbles on Saturday, offering discounts, a pilates session, a raffle for a private class, and free mimosas & coffee to benefit nonprofit Journey to Dream, which helps teens build coping skills. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Michelle Jennings will serve as principal when Barksdale Middle School opens in August in Pecan Square. She brings experience from Worthington Middle School (opened in 2023) and looks forward to building relationships with Bronco families while beginning the hiring process. The Cross Timbers Gazette
- ➤ Flower Mound resident Win Goddard’s photo of a Pipevine Swallowtail taken at Green Acres Farm Memorial Park is now on display at the Flower Mound Public Library as part of the Texas Master Naturalist program. - ➤ The Flower Mound Public Library celebrates National Library Week from April 19 to 25 by offering activities that include book checkouts, programming, and access to its creation lab (Find Your Joy) for residents. City of Flower Mound
- ➤ Four Flower Mound HS students earned a spot at the WorldQuest nationals in Washington, D.C. by beating 89 teams in the regional contest and will compete on April 27. Flower Mound Leader
