Flower Mound will host its Kid Fish event at Rheudasil Park on April 26 where children 16 and under will have 500 lbs of catfish waiting—offering a fun opportunity to try fishing.

Early voting for Flower Mound's bond election began on April 22 with two propositions on the ballot (Proposition A for $82,000,000 to enhance parks, trails, and the community center; Proposition B for $30,000,000 to fund street improvements) and polling locations in Denton and Tarrant counties offer set hours until Election Day on May 3 (each county has its own schedule).

Flower Mound Town Council approved a $75 tax credit for seniors and disabled residents, and the credit will automatically apply to eligible homeowners' property tax bills for the 2025 tax year — a decision made during the council meeting.

Flower Mound assistant football coach Juan Thrasher has been selected as one of 25 global finalists to attend the Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Coaching Academy from May 5-11—he will work with NFL coaches on scouting, film review, and other techniques to improve his skills and benefit his team.
