The Blue Bike event on Saturday, May 3 will feature a 5K, civilian bike race, police bike race and kids ride with police at Lakeside DFW from 7 to 11 a.m.—parking is provided at Fountain Business Park at 1005 Long Prairie Rd.

Jim Verdi, a Flower Mound native, started his radio career in 1989 at Star 105 in Dallas and built a 36-year career producing shows with famous guests like Dana Carvey and Dan Bongino while publishing a best-selling memoir in 2024.

After The Dan Bongino Show ended on March 14, he quickly joined Westwood One with The Vince Show — he also volunteers at a local museum and works as a pitmaster in his spare time.
