- ➤ Highland Village police and fire departments will team up for a fire truck pull event at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 at Doubletree Ranch Park to raise funds for Special Olympics Texas with teams of 10 paying a $300 fee and the pull starting at noon. The event is part of Celebrate Highland Village — featuring a 5k fun run at 7 a.m., a concert, and fireworks — to support athletes in a full season of competition. Family eGuide
