The Local Markethouse, founded by Molly and Brandyn Skinner, delivers local farm-fresh goods to residents in Denton County including Flower Mound, Roanoke and Argyle.

Denton County will hold its National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7 at 11:30 a.m. at The Denton County Amphitheater (behind the Administrative Courthouse) with praise, worship, prayers and speeches in honor of the 75th prayer day and the nation's 250th birthday.
PDNB Gallery relocated to Denton’s Square in 2025 and is now a major part of the local arts scene.
The gallery—located in the Wells Fargo Bank Building downtown—is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., showcasing rotating photography exhibits.

Argyle High School senior Julia Lightner will compete in girls singles at the state tennis tournament on May 7 in San Antonio after defeating Khloe Valdez in the regional semifinals to secure her berth.
She aims for a championship run as her season peaks.
