Discount Tire is set to begin $2.45 million construction in September on a 7,317-sqft shop near Texas Motor Speedway in southern Denton County and will finish in early July next year, offering tire inspections, installation and accessories to drivers.
🎓 Education
Lewisville ISD announced Monday evening that Shannon Knowles has been named the new principal of Flower Mound High School.
The 27-year educator, who previously served as an assistant and associate principal at the school, will build on the Jaguar tradition.
Argyle ISD on Monday evening named Dona Lumsden as principal of Argyle High School and promoted Coby Pelt to lead Argyle Middle School; the changes come ahead of a board meeting scheduled for June 15 (as the district plans to lessen its reliance on tech in classrooms).
