Village Salon is hosting its 15th Annual Back-to-School Haircut-A-Thon on Monday, Aug.

10 to help local students return to class with confidence (free haircuts will be provided).

Local independent vendors will soon have a new marketplace at Highland Village Town Center in the former Painted Tree location as The Collective Boutiques is set to open with professionally managed space and support for small shops.

Denton ISD announced Tuesday that Conroy Hines will become the new athletic director after Joey Florence's retirement.

Hines has served as assistant athletic director since 2019 and will now lead the district’s athletic program to support coaches and student-athletes.

A 23,000 sqft retail and office space is underway along Hwy 377 in Argyle, with construction kicking off at 8 a.m. Monday.

The project will include three buildings, a home for the Farmer’s Market, public restrooms and connected trails — features aimed at boosting community facilities and local tax revenue.
