Hudson House will open in fall or winter 2026 at The Shops at Highland Village where the restaurant, known for its signature cheeseburger & coastal dishes, is set to replace the former Corner Bakery Café.
Construction is expected to finish in November.
🎓 Education
Lewisville ISD announced John Engel as the new principal of Durham Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year on June 8, and he brings 29 years of public education experience from Fort Worth ISD to build a supportive school environment.
Argyle ISD approved a $2 million compensation plan on Monday to give all teachers and staff a 3% raise for the 2026-2027 school year & add benefits like increased health insurance and free Pre-K for staff.
The district also plans to open new schools as enrollment nears 10,000 by 2030.
