- ➤ Sadie Keller, a Lantana teen cancer survivor and Guyer High graduate, was selected for a $2,500 STAR Scholarship from the P.E.O. Sisterhood after being recommended by P.E.O. Chapter IZ from Highland Village. She founded the Sadie Keller Foundation to support children fighting cancer + she organizes an annual toy drive to bring gifts to hospitalized kids. Family eGuide
- ➤ Reid Johnson, a recent Northwest High School graduate, earned nominations to all four military academies and chose the United States Air Force Academy for his next step. - ➤ Southern Denton County pole vaulters shone at the state track meet last month when Argyle High swept the podium with Gator Young and Peyton Berry winning gold medals and Dylan Wyrick finishing seventh.
