Flower Mound sophomore Madelyn Modeste, who underwent spinal fusion surgery after her scoliosis worsened in May 2024, now inspires children with her self-published series about bravery + she pursues her dream of becoming a doctor with an internship at Children’s Health Andrews Institute Spine Center in Plano.
