- ➤ Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson from Flower Mound announced that 17 proposed amendments will appear on the November 4 ballot after a random drawing; each measure cleared by a two-thirds vote in both legislative chambers covers topics such as property taxes & education funding, bail reform, and parental rights. - ➤ On Monday, the Flower Mound Planning and Zoning Commission recommended two exceptions for a Hindu temple south of Flower Mound High School—one allowing a flat roof design and another waiving the required 25-foot landscaping buffer to provide necessary access.
