After a Tuesday public hearing, the Highland Village City Council reversed roundabout plans on Highland Shores Blvd and now recommends keeping a four-way stop at its intersection with Hillside Drive—citing safety concerns and outdated data as reasons for the change.
Council members thanked residents for their input and will have staff review the project plan.
📰 Real Estate
On Monday, Perot-owned Hillwood Communities announced that it will offer 30 half-acre lots in Pecan Square in Northlake with prices from $850,000 to over $1 million.
The homesites average 100 feet by 200 feet with a minimum of 20,000 square feet and offer buyers access to award-winning amenities — including a co-working space, fitness center, and sports pavilion — and quality schools with Johnie Daniel Elementary now open and a middle school set to open in August.
