Habitat for Humanity of Denton County dedicated its 109th home in Justin on July 2 for single mom Tamara Frazier and her children; local leaders including Justin Mayor James Clark & the Club of Champions Rotary, which raised over $200,000, helped support the project.

Flower Mound has launched its 2025 Resident Survey online, inviting residents to share feedback until Friday, July 25 to help pinpoint areas for service improvements—results will be posted once both online and mail-in responses are collected.

Residents who received the mail-in survey need not complete the online version.

State Rep. Tan Parker said Governor Abbott called a special session that will begin July 21 at noon to address flooding impacts, provide tax relief, and protect human trafficking victims—efforts aimed at strengthening emergency response and supporting affected communities.
