H-E-B bought 22.8 acres at the NE corner of Hwy 377 + FM 1171 on Furst Ranch, and a Flower Mound Town Council meeting approved a parking exception needed for an H-E-B store even though no construction date has been set.
The land is part of a $28.6 million infrastructure project managed by McAdams with construction expected to start in September and finish around April.

Local artist Anita Robbins has brightened Flower Mound by displaying her vibrant art around town—her sunflowers have adorned the Gerault Road signal box since 2020 while new works are shown at the Town Hall Art Wall and Flower Mound Library through the end of July.
