HTeaO planned for FM 407/Justin Road in Highland Village withdrew its application, leaving Brixmor to search for a new tenant—after planning delays and design changes that included a reduced building footprint and an added sidewalk approved in March.

Denton County Commissioner’s Court accepted a petition on Tuesday to form a new fresh water district in Northlake’s extraterritorial area, a step seen as key for funding public infrastructure and future industrial development.

Northlake officials and Mayor Brian Montini support the proposal + a public hearing is set for August 12 at 9 a.m. in Suite 3100 of the Commissioner’s Courtroom.
