- ➤ Movies in the Park will return every Friday in September as families gather to watch movies outdoors from 7-9:30 p.m. in a Town park—food trucks will sell snacks and park locations with movie titles will be announced closer to each event date, including Sept. 5, 12, 19, and 26. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m., Flower Mound Public Library (3030 Broadmoor Ln.) will host a workshop to teach adults practical strategies for building strong study habits that help children succeed in the new school year. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ On Friday from 7-10 p.m., Unity Park in Highland Village will host a charity pickleball doubles tournament to support Central Texas flood relief—registration costs $20 per person and is due by Wednesday.
