Portillo’s, known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian Beef Sandwiches and chocolate cake, will open at Tanger Outlets in north Fort Worth in late 2025—bringing a fresh dining option to shoppers.
The restaurant will occupy a 6,250-square-foot space near H&M that offers seating for 120 guests, an outdoor patio, drive-thru lanes and a grab-and-go area.
Mayor Hudspeth said growth around Robson Ranch is driving new projects like the Northlake Crossing retail center and the Landmark by Hillwood plan to add over 5,000 homes and commercial space while new roads, bridges and water upgrades will make travel and services better — these projects will boost our area's progress.
Developers are building new homes, stores and parks along I-35W as new subdivisions in Northlake, Flower Mound and Argyle boost growth in the corridor.
TxDOT said the road widening project will begin only when funding is found—leaving plans on hold for now— and residents should expect more traffic in the coming years.
