- ➤ Flower Mound Public Library now features local artist Beth Dilley's series “Dwelling on Home” on its Practicing Artist Wall near the south entrance. The exhibit—created during the 2020 pandemic to show home as both memory and challenge—leads into an art workshop on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Community Activity Center for participants ages 12 and up with a $5 fee. - ➤ Denton County and Reacting to Opioid Overdose are hosting an event on Sunday to recognize North Texas Overdose Awareness Day at the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square starting at 6:30 p.m.—the event will offer speakers, resources, food and music while lighting up downtown Denton with purple lights.
