Hillwood announced it will add more industrial buildings to its AllianceTexas development—one facility of 798,494 square feet at Alliance Westport and another of 310,036 square feet at Mobility Way and Intermodal Parkway—with construction starting in September and expected to finish by 2026.

Denton County and Reacting to Opioid Overdose are hosting an event on Sunday to recognize North Texas Overdose Awareness Day at the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square starting at 6:30 p.m.—the event will offer speakers, resources, food and music while lighting up downtown Denton with purple lights.
