The Flower Mound Public Library is launching its 40th anniversary Bookmark Design Contest—residents will drop off original designs at the Information Desk at 3030 Broadmoor Ln. by 9 p.m. on Sept.
30 and the winner will be honored at an anniversary party in November.

The Flower Mound Senior Center will host the annual Health Fair on Sept.
12 from 9 a.m. to noon — offering free health checks, flu shots, expert talks on healthy aging and caregiver resources, and nearly 70 vendors. Organized by Seniors in Motion Auxiliary and sponsored by Encompass Health, the event is held at 2701 W. Windsor Drive behind Mi Dia.
