Denton County announced its Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget which lowers the property tax rate from $0.187869 to $0.185938 on October 1 and provides $11.12 million for public safety and $5.39 million for judicial services.
The $452,153,186 budget also funds pay-as-you-go projects and maintenance — while investing in technology and competitive employee salaries to support the county's rapid growth.
