Local nonprofits in our area are working hard to support people with food, housing, transportation, health, and education, and they need more funding as our county grows.
North Texas Giving Day will take place on Sept. 18 from 6 a.m. to midnight—residents have already started donating and many local events are planned to support these groups.
The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation awarded $75,000 in grants to 45 teachers on Wednesday—five of whom teach at Flower Mound High School.
These grants will fund new educational projects for K-12 students in the coming school year.
