- ➤ The Denton County Master Gardener Association is inviting local residents to join the Class of 2026 and train as Master Gardeners — offering hands-on horticultural education that boosts community health and well-being. - ➤ Doggie Dive is scheduled for Sept. 27 at the outdoor water park at the CAC — 1200 Gerualt Rd. — where pet owners must register for one of two time slots, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. or 10 to 11 a.m., to let their pups splash, snack on treats and win prizes. All owners must bring a current rabies vaccine certificate and ensure their dogs wear a valid rabies tag as space is limited. City of Flower Mound

- ➤ Residents near the Walmart Supercenter at 190 East Grove Road in Lewisville will soon receive drone deliveries from a new partnership between Walmart and Zipline — the service will deliver up to 5.5 pounds of items such as fresh food, frozen items, and baby formula in about 20 minutes. Local officials and firefighters attended the launch as Walmart becomes the eighth store to offer the drone service. The Cross Timbers Gazette

- ➤ On Friday night, the Coram Deo Flower Mound Lions beat Mercy Culture Prep 47-31 as Luke Manack scored six touchdowns and ran for 342 yards—key plays that gave his team an early lead.
