Last week, Environmental Services staff recognized five Flower Mound establishments with the 2024-2025 Food Service Awards of Excellence after they earned inspection scores in the top one to two percent — winners include Guitars and Growlers — Full-Service Restaurant, Magnolia Assisted Living — Hospital/Assisted Living, Raising Canes — Fast Food, Tom Thumb on Justin Road — Grocery Store, and Jason's Deli — Sandwich/Deli.

Lizzano’s Pizza is coming soon to Flower Mound at 3347 Long Prairie Rd.—Rebranded from Italy Express, the restaurant will offer hand-tossed pizzas, pasta dishes and lunch specials with friendly service in a relaxed space near 151 Coffee.

NTMWD will invest $1.7B to expand water infrastructure in North Texas using over $1.3B from 2026's capital improvement program to boost supplies from Lake Texoma and Bois d’Arc Lake + the project will provide a safe and steady water supply.
