- ➤ Town staff is finalizing fall events (including block parties and emergency service visits) as residents will enjoy National Night Out on Oct. 7 from 6-9 p.m. and the inaugural Fall Into Flower Mound Festival on Oct. 10-11 at River Walk, with further family events scheduled such as a Police Department Open House and Haunted Library on Oct. 18, Woof-O-Ween on Oct. 22, and a chalk art contest and Diwali Festival on Oct. 25; additional activities will follow in November and December with community runs, ceremonies, and a Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. - ➤ Flower Mound was named a Top Performer in the 2025 Best in Governance Awards by Polco—one of only five winners chosen in the Civic Catalyst category—based on local and national survey data. The award shows the town's strong, community-centered government. City of Flower Mound
