- ➤ On Saturday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Argyle community will host the Stampede at the Stables car cruise event at Iron Horse Stables to help Tammy Lee Konz, a Sanger resident with a rare blood disorder in need of a liver transplant facing $10,000 in out-of-pocket costs. The event will feature music, vendors, food trucks, raffle prizes and classic vehicles — all funds raised will go toward covering her medical expenses. The Cross Timbers Gazette
- ➤ This October, Robson Ranch will host events for residents including a Women’s Club Holiday Market on October 18 at the clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a Community Garage Sale on October 25 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. that benefits Denton ISD teachers—live music with Raised Right Men on October 18, an Antebellum tribute on October 24, and a drama performance on October 26 with tickets on sale starting October 6 add to a busy month of activities including charity walks and a Pink Fling Charity Dance to support breast cancer efforts. - ➤ Local groups Lantana Cares and Denton County Firefighters Foundation are hosting the First Annual First Responders Charity Pickleball Tournament at Ferguson Courts at 8 a.m. Saturday—registration ends today. - ➤ A new retail building on Highway 114 in Justin will house sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt and Wetzel’s Pretzels at Rivers Edge Neighborhood Retail Center suite 108—located near Northwest ISD Stadium and Gateway Church Justin campus.
