- ➤ Pizza Twist is coming soon to Flower Mound at 2717 Cross Timbers Rd., Suite 410 — located in the same parking lot as Kroger. The restaurant will offer Indian-style fusion pizza — including butter chicken naan pizza, spicy beef lamb breadsticks, and achari fries. City of Flower Mound

- ➤ Town Hall now displays Creative Urges—an exhibit featuring nine local artists whose work inspired the Arts Festival; visitors can see the pieces at 2121 Cross Timbers Rd. during regular business hours through November. City of Flower Mound
- ➤ Blueberry the dinosaur is back at the CAC and will be on display at (1200 Gerault Rd.) through the end of November. Visitors can vote on her backstory to help decide where she is from and why she was named by Kelcie Sellers using fans’ input from January. City of Flower Mound
- ➤ Two new murals at the Community Activity Center honor Hannah Zebreski and Brinlee Farris, who died after a car accident in April — Kelcie Sellers painted the ASL butterfly for Hannah while Katelyn Farris explored themes of life and loss for Brinlee. The murals were first featured at the Arts Festival at Heritage Park and are on view at 1200 Gerault Rd. until November. City of Flower Mound

- ➤ Denton is hosting Halloween festivities from now until the first weekend of November—featuring nearly 300 events that support local businesses and are expected to draw close to one million visitors this month. - ➤ Flower Mound High School graduates Kaylee Cox and Geli Cyr will reunite on Major League Volleyball's new Dallas Pulse team as Cox returns for her second season while Cyr starts her rookie year; the team will play at Comerica Center in Frisco — both players expect to inspire local fans and encourage young athletes.
