Ono Hawaiian BBQ, a family-owned chain with over 115 restaurants in California and Arizona, announced Wednesday it will open 10 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in early 2026 and bring made-to-order Hawaiian dishes to Texas.

The nearest location for Flower Mound residents is planned for Carrollton+a 15-20 minute drive+making it a convenient option for local diners.

On Monday, Oct. 27, teams of two to five adults will take part in an Adult Trivia Night at Flower Mound Public Library — 3030 Broadmoor Ln. — beginning at 7 p.m.; participants without a team will be grouped on site.

A Houston-based developer will build a $5 billion master-planned community on 3,169 acres of former ranch land in southwest Denton.
