- ➤ Flower Mound Public Library is displaying entries for its 40th Anniversary Bookmark Design Contest at 3030 Broadmoor Ln and residents can vote until Nov. 9; the winners will be announced at the library Birthday Party on Tuesday, Nov. 25. City of Flower Mound
- ➤ Flower Mound will celebrate Texas Arbor Day with a tree planting ceremony on November 7 at Shadow Ridge Park at 4 p.m. where the final tree of a 46 tree project is planted and 50 Post Oak seedlings plus 25 Desert Willow seedlings are given in order of arrival; the Town’s Environmental Services Division will host its annual tree giveaway on November 8 at Westchester Park for residents who pre-register starting November 1 at 9 a.m.—each household may receive one tree. - ➤ Texas Health Resources has been named as a 2025 Texan by Nature 20 leader for sustainability for the seventh year in a row — it is the only health system among this year’s honorees. The organization uses energy-efficient buildings and recycling programs to cut waste and support local conservation efforts. The Cross Timbers Gazette

- ➤ Supreme Boil, a new Cajun-style seafood restaurant in Flower Mound, offers customizable seafood boils with options like shrimp, crawfish, lobster tail and a chicken basket for non-seafood eaters. The restaurant is located at 2321 Cross Timbers Road, suite 413—managed by Mikey Dao and serving house-made cocktails, beers on tap and a unique bread pudding. The Cross Timbers Gazette
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Flower Mound’s Planning and Zoning Commission will review the updated Eden Ranch development plan on Oct. 27, which now features larger three-quarter acre lots, a new two-acre agriculture lot, and 9.35 acres of parkland instead of the required 2.8 acres. Landowner Tyler Radbourne said the plan meets conservation rules and aims to create a pesticide-free, nature-centered community — setting a new standard for local growth. The Cross Timbers Gazette
