A Shake Shack burger restaurant is coming to the Shops at Highland Village as construction begins end-December and will be finished by June 2026 — the location will offer a mix of burgers, chicken items and desserts.

Quandary Kitchen in Argyle will open in early November near the FM 407—Hwy 377 corner, replacing Kimzey’s Coffee Shop that closed in May.

The restaurant will offer dine-in and to-go options with a menu of sandwiches, entrees, and seasonal market meals in a ski resort-themed space, and owner Heidi Fernandes said it will help families plan healthy meals.

The Argyle Open, a golf simulator and social lounge at Northlake Commons, is attracting guests with professional simulators offering over 200 courses and game modes like zombie dodgeball—its family-friendly space features a dedicated kids area.

The lounge operates daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.—with bay rentals at $60 for one-hour slots on Monday-Thursday and $100 for two-hour slots every day.
