- ➤ Flower Mound native Lauren Homeyer underwent a sternotomy at Medical City Denton after a car wreck triggered severe chest pain from a grapefruit-sized tumor attached to her lungs — she now works as Northlake’s Economic Development Coordinator and is steadily recovering with strong support from her family. - ➤ More participant spots have opened for the Do Your pART, Make Some Art event that will explore ancient Egypt. The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at Flower Mound Town Hall — 2121 Cross Timbers Rd. where guests can see replica artifacts and create Egyptian-inspired art. City of Flower Mound
