- ➤ Lucy Hedari, a Texas Women’s University graduate, is returning to her old college town as chief financial officer at Medical City Denton and Medical City Argyle—she will oversee finance, patient access, health information management, case management, revenue integrity and supply chain operations while drawing on previous leadership roles at other Medical City facilities. - ➤ Crave Cookies will open a new location in Northlake at the Northlake Commons shopping center and take up half of suite 100, which was previously Pharmacy-Plus + the 1,500-square-foot store will be divided into two spaces. Construction will begin in November and be completed in March 2026, and the shop will feature cookie flavors that rotate every two weeks with a customer vote to revive a past favorite. - ➤ Flower Mound High School's band won the 6A state championship on November 5 and later tied for first at a San Antonio contest before finishing second at grand nationals in Indiana — they earned awards for outstanding music and visuals in a historic postseason effort. The Cross Timbers Gazette

- ➤ Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Texas Health Resources broke ground on the Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton, a new inpatient rehab facility for stroke and brain injury patients— it is set to open in 2027. Flower Mound Leader
