On Tuesday, Hillwood announced a new logistics district in AllianceTexas in partnership with BNSF Railway and the City of Fort Worth that will help lower transportation costs and make moving freight easier.

Girls high school basketball season in southern Denton County is set for 2025-26 as local teams like Flower Mound’s Lady Jaguars, coached by Sherika Nelson, plan to build on a 31-5 record with returning District MVP Maci Pringle and other key players.

Several area programs including Argyle, Liberty Christian, Guyer and Marcus are aiming for postseason success — promising a highly competitive season ahead.
