Zio Al’s Pizza & Pasta is set to open soon in Flower Mound on FM 2499 next to Market Street—its late-night menu offers pizza, pasta, sandwiches and wings until 3 a.m. The restaurant will also feature a mobile app for ordering, earning points and redeeming special offers.

72-year-old Vince Rosen of Robson Ranch, known as Santa Vince, has brightened local holiday events with his custom Santa suits and warm visits; he now volunteers at over 25 Santa gigs a year, delighting both children and adults.

Northwest ISD announced its 24th elementary school—Dr. Leigh Anne Romer Elementary Ravens—in north Fort Worth; the new campus will serve up to 850 students and open for the 2026-2027 school year with purple, pink, and teal as official colors to honor its namesake.

Fairway Drive, known as the Dam Road, will reopen tomorrow with expanded lanes and a new roundabout — the road has been improved with repaving that had not occurred in over 20 years and a mixed-use trail now links to dam facilities.
