Flower Mound graduate Sameeka Kalavagunta is developing the online startup Trravo to connect local students with residents needing help with small jobs—she built the platform with strict bio reviews for safety.

She gathered input at the River Walk farmer’s market to shape the service for the community.

Local residents are invited to attend public input meetings at Town Hall on Dec.

11 to help shape plans for a new Flower Mound Arts Center. The sessions run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. for Dance and Theater, 3:30 to 5 p.m. for Music and Visual Arts, and 6 to 8 p.m. for a Community Workshop + Discussion where town staff will share early design ideas for the center, which is expected to open in spring.

Local artist Vihaan Budankayala, an 8th grader at Argyle Middle School, now shows his artwork at the Flower Mound Public Library, where his pieces use acrylic, graphite, and oil pastels to capture everyday beauty—blending abstract forms with influences from his heritage and nature.

Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound changed ownership on Tuesday when Jason and Hillary Roberts sold the 42 acre landmark—known for its Western charm—to two local families.

The new owners plan to host community events and add community nights—continuing the ranch’s legacy while expanding its offerings.
