- ➤ Flower Mound’s 2025 Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting will be held tomorrow at Gerault Park (1200 Gerault Rd.) with a parade starting at 6 p.m. and a tree lighting with fireworks at 7:20 p.m. that will also feature entertainment and food vendors. City of Flower Mound
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Three Flower Mound High School students advanced to the Round of 64 in the International Public Policy Forum announced in November and will email debate arguments on the education crisis. The elite eight will meet in New York City on Saturday, April 18 for a $10,000 prize and Brewer Cup. The Cross Timbers Gazette
- ➤ At a Dec. 1 work session, LISD proposed relocating several programs to existing campuses to address declining enrollment, with changes taking effect in the 2026-27 school year. Virtual Learning Academy will move to Downing Middle School in Flower Mound. The Cross Timbers Gazette
