- ➤ Northwest ISD will hold a community meeting today at Carter Elementary to discuss proposed boundary changes for Romer Elementary and another meeting on Wednesday at Daniel Elementary to address changes for Barksdale Middle School & an extra meeting may be scheduled the week of January 5 with the Board voting on final changes on Monday, Jan. 12. - ➤ Lantana Community Association will hold its homeowners meeting on Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at Harpool Middle School to elect board members; residents vote in person or online. Fresh Water Supply Districts plan an 8,000 sqft office building on reserved land north of Ferguson Courts with bids due March 2026. The Cross Timbers Gazette
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Highland Village announced Friday that its new basketball court at Unity Park is ready for play. The court measures 62 by 106 feet, 25% smaller than regulation, and features four basketball goals, a concrete foundation and a five foot sidewalk connecting it to the parking lot.
