- ➤ The Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum reopened Tuesday with a new exhibit featuring six American Presidential home replicas from the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Cross Timbers Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Argyle reached a performance-based agreement on Wednesday where the Heritage Tract developer will fund $25 million in infrastructure at the southwest corner of I-35W and Robson Ranch Road; the town will reimburse funds when tax benchmarks are met (a planned hospital and more business details will be announced in 2026). REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Double Oak will start developing its final commercially zoned plat on FM 407 and Simmons Road with a shopping center featuring a national grocer, sit-down and quick-service restaurants. Town officials say the site is designed with local charm in mind and will boost tax revenue as planning continues. The Cross Timbers Gazette
